The Lioness is the mother and protector. The Lioness is majestic, strong, and courageous. She knows her place and is firm in who she is. She may not be the King of the Jungle, but she is definitely the Queen. She uses her instincts and they are her strength. When we think about Lions/Lionesses, we think strength and power. Lastly, these beautiful animals are the epitome of what we are as women.

How Precious You Are!

Diamonds are strong and indestructible. They are rare and beautiful. They are the most worn gem at weddings and the most sought out. Roses are beautiful and have such a graceful poise. They smell sweet and look great in any setting. Roses are delicate to the touch and should be handled with care. Roses are not just admired for their beauty, but they are very useful for natural holistic remedies. Roses have many different uses. The Lioness is strong and fearless. Mess with her cubs, and you will have to go to war with her. She protects at all costs. She is courageous and driven. Nothing can stop her. She is the Queen and all around her acknowledge her position.

I know I said that the Lioness was the last one, but can you do me a favor? Can you go look in the mirror right quick? Take a moment to reflect. Tell me what you see?

I know I’ve mentioned Diamonds, Roses, and the Lioness. These are all things God created and they are good. He crafted them all into what he wanted and all of them have a purpose. We now find beauty in all of them, in different ways. Now, let me tell you about something God made and he crafted in His image. This thing is unique to any other thing made on this earth. This thing is You. God made you and he made you perfect in his eyes. I’m hoping you can see what God sees when you look in that mirror. Just imagine with me the feeling you had when you had your 1st child. The feeling of awe. The feeling of love and admiration. I’m sure you loved your child so much in that moment. If you’re like me, you felt the ultimate love. That is how God feels about you. He sees you and he is proud of what he made. There is not another copy of you anywhere. Don’t you feel special?

There are some characteristics God has given us as women naturally that we should be proud of. The Lessons By Nature helps us with an example.

Like the Diamond you are:

Precious, rare, sought after, strong, beautiful, expensive, valuable, priceless, and unique.

Like the Rose you are:

Delicate, beautiful, poised, graceful, loved, a masterpiece, fragrant, and multifaceted.

Like the Lioness you are:

Instinctive, protecting, a Queen, strong ,courageous, fearless, nurturing, powerful, and persevering.

Let me tell you something, you are every one of these words and more! You should treat yourself like this and expect nothing less from anyone in your life. Don’t feel any type of way when you demand to be treated the way God intended for you to be treated. You have to 1st see these things in yourself and then everyone else will follow. I personally battled low confidence and self esteem. I attracted what I thought of myself at the time. I attracted friends, jobs, significant others, etc. for how I thought of myself. I can attest, when you finally realize who created you and what he created you for and the natural power he has given you, there will be no stopping you! These things are not things you have to acquire. These are things that you already possess and were born with. So, tell me again, what do you see in the mirror? I challenge you to look in your mirror each day for the next month and affirm to yourself each word we talked about. You can do it! Watch your whole world change!

Girl, you are precious! Your past doesn’t dictate that, your family or the way you were raised doesn’t dictate that, how you feel, your career choice , the way you look, the way you dress, or your social stature doesn’t dictate that! You are precious and let all your decisions maintain who you are and everyone else will follow. It starts with how you see and carry yourself!

God, I present each precious jewel to you. I than you for their lives! I pray that each reader will see themselves as you see them and they will walk in confidence knowing who you have made them to be. I pray the weight of the past will be lifted and the sunshine in their lives from this day forth will guide them into their destiny. I pray that each woman reading will be whole and free and walk in the power you have given them. Lord, we thank you in advance! In Jesus name, Amen!
